  • In the event of a sale after the 18-month period from the manufacturer date, the warranty will be activated at the 18-month date, and the remaining balance of warranty coverage will apply from that date forward.

The original purchaser must provide an authorized Kiefer Manufacturing dealer prompt notice of all defects. Upon receipt of such notice, the dealer will notify the original purchaser of their intentions to repair the trailer. Kiefer Manufacturing suggests that the original purchaser take the trailer to the dealer where it was purchased, though any authorized Kiefer Manufacturing dealer can perform the work.

There is an approval process for repairs; therefore, any repair costs incurred by the original purchaser prior to notification of an authorized Kiefer Manufacturing dealer may not be covered.
